Author guidelines
The text below is a translation of the archived guidelines page. This site accepts no submissions and the submission e-mail address was removed.
Publication principles
- The journal was refereed and came out at least twice a year. Papers had to be previously unpublished.
- Papers were written in Turkish or English.
- Publication rights for a published paper belong to the journal, and no fee was paid to authors.
- Opinions in a paper bind only its authors, who carry the legal responsibility for the text.
- Papers that did not follow the style rules were returned without refereeing.
- A paper needed positive opinions from two referees. If one was positive and the other negative, the editor asked a third referee.
Style rules
- After the title and the author name came a Turkish abstract of 50 to 150 words (aim, methods, content), the keywords, then an English title and a 50 to 150 word English abstract with English keywords. A JEL code was required as well (JEL classification).
- The title was centred, with the author names and academic titles below it on the right. The institution and e-mail address went into a footnote on the first page.
- Papers were set in Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing, justified; abstracts in 10 pt with single spacing.
- Margins were 2.5 cm at top, left and right, with 0 pt before and 6 pt after paragraphs.
- The main title was in capitals, other headings in sentence case.
- Figures and tables were numbered in sequence, table captions above and figure captions below.
- Sources were cited in the text by author surname, year and page, for example (Yılmaz, 2011, p. 13), and listed alphabetically at the end.
