Marmara Sosyal Araştırmalar Dergisi (ISSN 2146-6017) came out as a refereed electronic journal issued in the name of the Marmara University Vocational School of Social Sciences, at least twice a year from 2011.

The journal aimed to publish original work in the social sciences. Papers in Turkish and English were accepted, provided they had not been published elsewhere.
